‘Selling Sunset’ Star Christine Quinn’s Ex Lists $5.5 Million L.A. Home as Bitter Divorce Battle Rages On

"Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn's husband, Christian Dumontet, has listed the sprawling Los Angeles home the former couple once shared as their contentious divorce battle continues.

Dumontet filed for divorce from the real estate agent—who is set to make her return to the Netflix reality series—in April 2024, after he was arrested following an alleged domestic violence incident. He was later detained for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order requiring him to stay away from the property.

The tech entrepreneur purchased the home for $5 million in 2019, the same year he and Quinn tied the knot in an extravagant Gothic-themed wedding.

However, their relationship ultimately unraveled, with the pair calling it quits in 2024.

Amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, Dumontet asked a judge to grant him exclusive control of the Los Angeles property so he could put it on the market. He argued that he purchased the residence before the couple married and had continued covering its mortgage, taxes, and insurance.

He claimed that neither he nor Quinn—who recently moved back to her home state of Texas—had lived at the property since September 2025, despite the residence still costing him around $27,000 a month.

According to TMZ, Dumontet also claimed that he previously spent $30,000 a month on round-the-clock security for the property and continues to shell out $7,500 a month for a caretaker.

Although the court previously denied his emergency request, the home officially hit the market on Sept. 8 with Josh Flagg of Compass, carrying a $5.49 million asking price.

Built in 2010, the four-bedroom, six-bathroom residence sits above the Sunset Strip and pairs contemporary architecture with sprawling entertaining spaces and resort-style amenities.

The listing describes the gated property as "a sophisticated contemporary retreat above the Sunset Strip," noting its "expressive architecture, substantial scale, and a refined interplay of natural materials and glass."

The residence was previously owned by Crystal Hefner and has appeared in People magazine and several architectural publications, giving it a notable Hollywood pedigree even before Quinn and Dumontet called it home.

Inside, a dramatic entryway gives way to soaring ceilings, walls of glass, and expansive living spaces designed to take advantage of the surrounding skyline views.

The chef's kitchen anchors the home's open-concept layout and features walnut cabinetry, stainless-steel accents, dual ovens, dual dishwashers, and a large center island.

The spacious primary suite offers floor-to-ceiling windows, while its striking bathroom features a large soaking tub set against a dramatic black pebble-stone wall.

But some of the property's most impressive amenities can be found on its lower level, which has been designed almost entirely for entertainment.

There, the next owner will have access to a Dolby Atmos movie theater, lounge, arcade area, refrigerated wine cellar, and bar. There's also an additional en suite bedroom, creating what the listing describes as a "self-contained setting for guests and gatherings."

Outside, the home's resort atmosphere continues with a large swimming pool surrounded by lush landscaping, offering a private retreat just above one of Los Angeles' most famous stretches.

The decision to put their former marital home on the market marks yet another major change for the exes as they continue navigating their divorce, while Quinn prepares to step back into the spotlight with her return to reality TV.

Quinn announced the news of her return in an Instagram video, telling fans she's "back" before asking if they missed her.

Quinn, who took a four-year break from the show, told Tudum that things in the Oppenheim office, which is led by Jason and Brett Oppenheim, will be different this time around, warning fans to expect a "reintroduction" when the season kicks off.

"This isn’t a rewind. It’s a reintroduction," Quinn said, before opening up about how her return to the show first came about.

"Adam DiVello and I reconnected after my divorce, and I really appreciate him extending the invitation to come back on," she shared, referring to the show's creator. "I’m returning from a very different place, with more perspective, confidence, and clarity."

Since leaving the series, Quinn has moved to Texas, previously revealing that she wanted to get back to her roots after her time on the show came to an end.

"A lot of people don't know that I'm actually from Texas originally. So I grew up here, and I went to Southlake Carroll. A lot of people don't know that," she said. "My family still lives in the same house that I grew up in, and I live in the area. I'm a suburb gal.

"Dallas is like my home and Fort Worth as well," she told the Dallas Morning News.

It is unclear what her return to "Selling Sunset" means for her life in the Lone Star State.

Quinn—who was portrayed as the villain during her time on the show—also revealed that becoming a mom has helped her become more "protective of her peace."

“Motherhood has a way of sharpening your priorities and changing how you move through the world. I’ve become more intentional and much more protective of my peace," she said.

However, Quinn assured fans she's still her cutthroat self.

"I’m still ambitious and direct, but I think people will see a version of me that’s more centered and even more sure of herself. I’m hoping this chapter feels fresh and honest. I’m not coming back to play an old version of myself. I’m coming back to show where I am now and let the audience see that growth can still come with an edge," she explained.
